RFID
defines the next generation of barcode technology. RFID enables automatic identification
by replacing traditional barcode technology with radio frequency
transponders known as RFID tags. These tags are engineered with unique
radio signatures, such that each can be identified distinctly. RFID
tags are designed to be attached to products, animal, or person which
need to be automatically identified. Unlike barcodes, RFID tags can be
detected through radio waves at varying ranges. Current RFID technology
supports tag identification ranging from few centimeters to several hundred
meters. Typical read time of tags fall in the range of 20 - 100ms,
however this can increase or decrease depending on the tag capacity and other
environmental conditions. |

RFID
solutions are of several layers. Bottom layers represent RFID
transponders, readers and interface software, while Top layers tune the
system to your requirements.
RFID-CORE™
encapsulates the bottom layers plus useful high-level services
in a single reusable platform. This allows us to solely focus on
your business requirements when engineering solutions for you. |
